Anti- cards recycled cards

This is the same design only with the caption 'got wood' its more of a joke one for my friend :)
This is the first one it says 'i willow-open' and inside it says 'my heart for you' the image is a heart being chopped up on a tree stump by a wood axe. The image is to basically say to cut down a tree for paper or wood is to chop threw its heart.
Here is my valentines addition ! its the same concept with the anti- tree kill message.
This is the third and last design 'winter wonderland' obviously its sarcastic as its a scene of the stumps of the murdered Christmas trees with just one baby tree left , i added the little tree not as a glimmer of hope but as a harsh reminder that its fate will be the same when it grows up.
This is the second design and my favorite 'merry christ-massacre'.
This is my first design 'jingle fells' with Santa dragging a bleeding Christmas tree after its been murdered by him for his grotto.
These are my anti cards, i am really against cards especially Christmas cards as people don't tend to recycle them. So i decided to make my own using last years Christmas cards, to do this i just painted acrylic over the front design and the inside. the front designs are all to do with the slaughter of Christmas trees as i am against that too.

creatures brief

This is a page off bird studies, i drew pictures of different breads and used a mix of medias, i drew a thrush in a frame on distressed paper i think it worked well and looks interesting
This is a page of research i did on designs of a animal to tattoo on myself, i chose a owl and did lots of different designs.
This is a page of work from my book on my research into cats, i drew many different breads in different medias such as fine liner, Biro, chalk pastel, pencil and watercolour there also are some observational sketches of my two cats.
This is a Maggy hambling inspired painting of a jaguar i photographed on a trip to Chester zoo. its done in acrylic
This is a practise drawing for my final piece done in 2B pencil, its a drawing of a story of me and my cat. iv always wanted to be a mermaid but i would never leave smudge (my cat )behind. so this is a illustrative piece telling the story of me getting my wish but meeting my cat back on the doc every full moon.
This is my final piece for my creatures brief. i used two different types of prints , gouache paint , acrylic on the textured plant and acrylic painted into the printed birds.

tattoos and the shop

This is a photo of me tattoing myself and another of me tattooing pig skin.

This is a photo of the pig skin i tattooed. i did three very diffrent types of tattoo tribal and lettering being very important as its very popular. the more practise the beter!!
This is the finished chines dragon i painted on the wall at the shop the backgroun isnt yet compleate.
This is a painting on the wall of the tattoo shop i help out at. Its a more creative toilet sign.

life drawing

This is a charcoal 30minit sketch of Babara on A3 paper. i used a rubber to pull out the tones and lighter areas. i quite like this because of the composition of Barbra.
This is a A2 life drawing of Barbra done using chalk, and charcoal.
This is a A4 mono type still life print. i think i did well as i managed to draw Babara without leaning on my paper and without losing controle of the media. i used Biro for the hair, 2b pencil for the face and 6B pencil on the body. i think it using the different media shows different texture.
This is another life drawing A3 piece, but this time we did timed drawings using different medias and tecnheaks, the first drawing is just a sketch is Biro, the next drawing is a continuing line drawing were the pen doesn't leave the page, then just a pencil sketch, the next sketch from that is a stick and ink drawing and final larger drawing is a negative space sketch done with a red Biro.
This is a basic 10minit sketch of Barbra from still life in 6B pencil.
This is a another observational drawing of Barbra using the stick exercise but this time i attached a piece of charcoal instead of the black marker. i think the other one worked better but i still enjoyed using this technique even tho it was hard to keep control of the media.
This is a A2 drawing of Barbra from still life. In this exercise we had to attach different materials to a long stick place paper on the floor and draw Babara without loosing to much control of the media, This drawing was done in chunky black marker i think it worked well as i managed to keep control and  i used sketch marks to portray tone.
This is a observational drawing of our life model Barbra. done in 2B pencil.
