This is a charcoal 30minit sketch of Babara on A3 paper. i used a rubber to pull out the tones and lighter areas. i quite like this because of the composition of Barbra.
This is a A2 life drawing of Barbra done using chalk, and charcoal.
This is a A4 mono type still life print. i think i did well as i managed to draw Babara without leaning on my paper and without losing controle of the media. i used Biro for the hair, 2b pencil for the face and 6B pencil on the body. i think it using the different media shows different texture.
This is another life drawing A3 piece, but this time we did timed drawings using different medias and tecnheaks, the first drawing is just a sketch is Biro, the next drawing is a continuing line drawing were the pen doesn't leave the page, then just a pencil sketch, the next sketch from that is a stick and ink drawing and final larger drawing is a negative space sketch done with a red Biro.
This is a basic 10minit sketch of Barbra from still life in 6B pencil.
This is a another observational drawing of Barbra using the stick exercise but this time i attached a piece of charcoal instead of the black marker. i think the other one worked better but i still enjoyed using this technique even tho it was hard to keep control of the media.
This is a A2 drawing of Barbra from still life. In this exercise we had to attach different materials to a long stick place paper on the floor and draw Babara without loosing to much control of the media, This drawing was done in chunky black marker i think it worked well as i managed to keep control and i used sketch marks to portray tone.
This is a observational drawing of our life model Barbra. done in 2B pencil.
